We found this hidden gem in Bacalar, and let me tell you that we were surprise how tasteful it was. My wife and I order the burger and BBQ ribs. The burger had a good meaty portion of a tender patty. The ribs were as also good. Highly recommended!!
Overall very happy with the experience. We tried calling first to make sure they were open and no one answered the phone, plus very few Facebook posts. Decided to go check it out anyway. The service was prompt and very accommodating to everything we asked for. We hoped to try the Cowboy but they were out that night. We choose the arrachera and ribeye instead. Both were happy with the selections. The chef came out several times to personally speak with us and appeared to truly be passionate about his work, which almost always delivers a solid product. Will definitely be back during our next Bacalar visit.
Incredible food, the filet mignon was perfect! Lovely, friendly staff, quick service and the restaurant itself is very authentic and comfortable. Be warned, the habanero salsa is the spiciest I’ve tried in 2.5 years living in Mexico! The staff kindly bagged some extra salsa for me to take home! Will definitely return next time I visit Bacalar

THE BEST FOOD WE ATE DURING OUR TRIP TROUGH MEXICO The meat is excellent!!!! We took the Hamburger Mexicana and the Cowboysteak of 1kg and it was really DELICIOUS!!! I recommend this place very much!! The owner is a super friendly French man and gives perfect service!
This restaurant was suggested to us and we loved it! The owner is just the best! Very friendly, very affordable and great food. We went there twice during our 4 day stay! The chicken with blue cheese sauce and mushrooms was delicious! Best bbq wings I’ve ever tasted. My friend had the T-bone and he loved it. We also had the costillas “el barril” also very good. We definitely recommend this restaurant. The owner/chef speaks English, french and spanish if you want to say hi, he’s very friendly.
The food here was so delicious , a real compliment to the Chef who also brews his own craft beers. We loved everything, we had the Tacos Arrachera, The sampler plate which includes: Wings, Sausage, Guacamole and queso fundido, we also tried the Filet Mignon. The wait may seem a little long but it is well worth it. The golden amber beer was tasty.
The place is really nice, food was also NICE! I ordered a Yucateca steak and my girlfriend ordered bbq ribs both so delicious. It's a must go! Lemon margaritas... amazing!!! I believe the prices are just fine and staff very friendly.
